Why KYND?

KYND was created to offer dogs a calm, gentle grooming experience in a quiet, one-on-one space.

Even with regular grooming, many dogs can find the process unfamiliar, which is why KYND takes a gentle, unhurried approach and allows each dog to move through their appointment at their own pace. At KYND, comfort always comes first, which often means choosing practical, easy-to-maintain haircut lengths that keep dogs feeling light, comfortable and happy between appointments.

KYND has been intentionally designed with soft blue and yellow tones—colours dogs can naturally see—to create a soothing and welcoming environment from the moment they arrive.

FAQ’s

As KYND is a home salon in a residential area, here are a few things to know about arriving and collecting your dog.

How do I let you know I’ve arrived?

When you arrive, you’ll see a sign and doorbell on the gate.
Please press the doorbell so I know you’re here and can safely bring your dog inside.

Can I park in the driveway to drop off or pick up?

No — please don’t drive into the driveway.
It’s a shared driveway, so for safety and courtesy, please park on the street and walk your dog on a lead to the gate.

How will I know when my dog is ready for pick up?

I’ll text you 15–30 minutes before I finish grooming so you know when to start heading over. This ensures your dog isn’t waiting too long and helps maintain a calm environment.

What happens if I’m running late to pick up my dog?

Because I work one-on-one and give each dog my full attention, prompt pick-up is essential. If you’re running late, please text me — but repeated delays may affect future bookings.
